Bader.cruising introduces
Burkhard Bader, the founder and creative mind behind the innovative catamaran houseboats from Bader.cruising, brings an impressive 35 years of experience in building multihulls.
“My aim is to maximise efficiency and comfort. The yachts should be simple to operate and easy to maintain. Intensive experience with GRP composite materials, ideas from an Italian designer and calculations by German engineers have resulted in motorised catamarans that provide unparalleled enjoyment on the water – even in the cooler months of the year.”
Travelling far and wide has shown me that a shallow draft is essential for experiencing nature and a feeling of freedom.
The yachts from Bader.cruising
Neuland37
An energy efficient and
comfortable home at sea.
Neuland37 is certified in category CE-B for cruises across the European seas to distant coasts. The enormous expansion of the navigable areas thanks to the yacht’s minimal draught opens up countless bays where you can anchor in peace and tranquillity. For rivers, our boats are equipped with a strong bow anchor and a light stern anchor. However, usually only the bow anchor is used. Natural rivers are waiting for you.
The spacious interior offers the comfort of a real home at sea, with clearly defined functional areas: A separate kitchen, a large U-shaped sofa that invites you to relax and allows you to sit comfortably opposite each other, plus a desk for mobile working and a generous sanitary area that has a large sink and, if desired, a washing machine.
In no time the U-shaped sofa becomes a king-size bed. This luxurious sleeping area above water level, allows you to experience your surroundings at night and at dawn. You are quickly on deck when you hear unfamiliar noises. In the morning, the bedding is quickly stowed away again. A double and a single berth in the port hull are also available as comfortable sleeping areas. Beds in the mezzanine of the foredeck prove to be uncomfortable in the long run, which is why we have foregone them in favour of a better view onto the water.
Three outdoor areas offer a variety of opportunities to relax, either in the sun or in the shade. Boarding is effortless both from different deck levels and through the side doors aft. The Neuland37 catamaran impresses with its elaborately optimised hull shape (CFD). The hulls are optimised for speeds of 11 km/h on canals, 18 km/h against currents and 37+ km/h for passages over the sea. An economical trip is guaranteed. Finn fins under the sterns ensure good directional stability. Its low weight gives Neuland37 high manoeuvrability. The propellers are optimally energised without going deeper than the hull – an exclusive feature of Neuland37. In addition, the extensive capacity of the tanks for water and fuel allows extended journeys with few stops at service stations
Destinations such as Scandinavia, Scotland, Brittany, Algarve, Greece, Turkey and many more are waiting for you!

KRONLAND II
light and narrow on the go –
spacious living on one level
Houseboat Kronland II, certified in category CE-C, is ideal for trips on inland waters and along protected coasts.
With a width of 3.45 m, it easily fits into common berths. From the upper cockpit, it is possible for a single person to manoeuvre the boat singlehanded through locks.
The interior is generously designed, with a living area of 22 m2 on one level and an additional 17 m² on work decks and cockpit, giving a total usable area of 39 m2.
Although up to six people can sleep comfortably, in practice there are usually no more than two people on board. The rear cabin is therefore often used as a walk-in wardrobe, mobile workstation or multifunctional space, which can quickly be converted into a guest cabin with a double bed.
Comfort is enhanced by the hybrid solar-voltaic/thermal panel, which not only supplies power to the on-board grid but also supplies hot water to the kitchen and bathroom.
The sheltered steering position below and the airy steering position above offer an uninterrupted all-round view and, together with its practical dimensions and homely comfort, the Kronland II provides you with an unrivalled cruising experience.
Dream of living on the water, enjoying freedom, working remotely, travelling with your home. Bader.cruising makes your dream come true with its innovative motorised catamarans

Advantages of a catamaran from Bader.cruising
Style and innovation – unique advantages
Thanks to their shallow draught, KRONLAND II and Neuland37 can also navigate very shallow waters. Voyages can be planned regardless of weather conditions and water levels.
The yachts are equipped with all-round insulation. Double glazing reflects UV rays and heat. A dry, pleasantly tempered and quiet ambience at any time of year guarantees your well-being.
The living space, furnished to domestic dimensions, leaves nothing to be desired in these handy yachts.
The decks remain free of equipment and reflective surfaces. Stowage spaces accommodate bicycles, deck cushions, fenders and bulky cargo. Your eyes will enjoy the surroundings.
Large tank volumes reduce the number of stops at service stations. The low fuel requirement reduces operating costs. Alternative e-drives would severely limit both range and speed. In addition, the current batteries with short running times do not generate any environmental benefits. We are monitoring the development.
Outboard engines are easy to maintain and the propellers can be swivelled upwards, which contributes to safety. Mounting the engines behind the hulls creates space inside the yacht.

Sustainability
Experience sustainable travel with our energy efficient houseboats
Respecting the environment is of utmost importance to us. This awareness of nature is reflected in every phase of the development and use of our houseboats. In a world where sustainability and efficiency are becoming increasingly important, we are setting new standards in boatbuilding.
Our exclusive catamaran houseboats stand for environmentally conscious design and innovative technologies:
– Sandwich construction saves resources
– All-round insulation ensures energy efficiency – Hybrid solar and thermal panels for sustainable electricity and hot water supply
– Optimized hull lines for speeds from 10 up to 37+ km/h
- Cool box instead of frigde with vertical door
– Cooktops are operated efficiently with gas
– Sustainable indoor materials, e.g. genuine leather and natural fiber textiles
Our houseboats are therefore not only an exclusive experience, but also an environmentally conscious one. Our entire, beautiful Europe is at your disposal as a precinct, inland, on the coasts and for passages across the seas of Europe.
